Electrical Power Lab
The objective of the Electrical Power Lab is to familiarize students with the testing and protection techniques used in power systems. The Electrical Power Lab is well-equipped with panels and trainer kits for studying the performance, characteristics, and applications of various protective devices and relays used in power systems. Key equipment in the lab includes Digital Breakdown Voltage Testers, Induction-Type Inverse Time Over current Relays, Earth Leakage Relays, a Three-Phase Power Measurement Trainer Kit, and Fuse and MCB Testing Kits. The lab also features Static Inverse Time Over current Relays and a comprehensive Relay Testing Kit. This facility provides students with hands-on experience in electrical protection, fault analysis, and the operation of modern power system components.
